This document is a template provided for general information and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before you rely on it.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how SupportWize, a product of SimpliRide ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our website and platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Account data: your name, email address, organization name and role when you create or are invited to a workspace.
  • Customer conversation data: messages, media (images, PDFs, voice notes and files) and contact identifiers exchanged through the WhatsApp Business Platform and stored as tickets.
  • Usage data: log data, device and browser information, and analytics about how the Service is used.
  • Billing data: subscription and wallet information processed through our payment provider.

3. How we use data

  • To provide, operate and maintain the Service, including routing conversations and tracking tickets.
  • To send transactional and account notifications by email.
  • To measure and improve performance, reliability and support quality.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions and wallet balances.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. WhatsApp and Meta processing

The Service integrates with the official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), operated by Meta. When you connect a WhatsApp number, messages and related metadata are processed through Meta’s infrastructure and are subject to Meta’s own terms and privacy practices. We process these messages on your behalf to create and manage support tickets.

5. Payments (Paystack)

Payments are processed by Paystack. When you make a payment, your payment details are handled by Paystack in accordance with its privacy policy. We receive limited information necessary to manage your subscription and wallet, such as transaction references and status.

6. Email notifications

We use Mailgun to deliver transactional and account-related emails. Email content and delivery metadata are processed by Mailgun on our behalf.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service, such as maintaining your authenticated session. Where required, we will seek your consent for non-essential cookies.

8. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your workspace is active and as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain data longer where required for legal, accounting or reporting obligations. You can request deletion of your workspace data by contacting us.

9. Data security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption of sensitive secrets at rest, role-based access control, per-tenant data isolation, and encryption in transit. See our Security page for more detail.

10. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

11. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the service providers described above (Meta/WhatsApp, Paystack, Mailgun and our hosting provider), and where required by law.

12. Contact us
